Hello Possums, my piece 'Ground Control to Major Tom' is a finalist the Eurobodalla Basil Sellers Art Prize!!!!!

It's a ghost linocut with graphite pencil drawing and references the connections of tidelines with the constellations above us. This work is also a homage to David Bowie - I couldn't get the lyrics from Space Oddity out of my head while I was working on it. 'Planet Earth is blue and there's nothing I can do...'.

The winner will be announced at the opening on the 13th of September.
